Snappy Little November!

Whew!  The Anxious Little Friends Fest was super fun.  Thanks to everyone that made it a blast!  We have some extra silk-screened show posters as well as the last few copies of "The Anxious Little Friends Companion" Cassette in our web store, so if you missed out on those hot items, we got you covered.  Bud Bronson & The Good Timers are on tour now and have their welcome home/official album release show on 11/3/18 at Ratio Beerworks in Denver, CO.  Rostermates SPELLS, Andy Thomas' Dust Heart and BlackDots will be rocking Fest 17 in Gainesville, FL at the end of the month.  So, what's next?  LOTS!  We have four more stellar new releases lined up for November.   New talent acquisitions Modern Goon drop the "This Empty Space" EP 7" and False Cathedrals deliver the "No Map" EP Cassette on 11/8/18 with a joint release show at the Hi Dive in Denver, CO.  Two days later, our buds Great American House Fire supply the "Promise Me Endings" 12" while our first ever signees Eyes & Ears bestow upon the world the "Burn It Down To The Ground: The Complete Recordings" Cassette.  11/10/18 will be another joint release show for those two recordings at Lost Lake in Denver, CO.  This will be the first Eyes & Ears show since, well, a long time.  You don't want to miss it, who knows if they'll ever play again?!  Pre orders are up now in our store HERE for all four of these new releases.  We've updated our bandcamp sampler with a fresh track off each of the new releases, so go ahead and prepare for another awesome month of Snappy action!

Bud Bronson & The Good Timers "Between The Outfield And Outer Space" LP Is Coming Soon!

Here's some more big news concerning Denver's shred-tacular Bud Bronson & The Good Timers.  We here at SLN are releasing their brand new LP, "Between The Outfield And Outer Space" on October 12, 2018!  Fans of the band already know, they're an arena rock band with the ethos of garage punks.  This, their second album, revolves around a concept of balancing the future with the present.  BBGT is anthemic and this album sees them playing to their strengths in more concise and powerful methods.  If you loved them before, you'll love them even more now.  You can check out a track on our bandcamp sampler as audio proof that we speak the truth.  The boys will be hitting the road in support of the record in October and will have a homecoming/album release show in November.  "Between The Outfield And Outer Space" is up for pre-order in our BRAND NEW WEB STORE right HERE!  The vinyl is translucent green and it pairs stunningly with the album artwork.  This is a big one folks, don't miss the boat!

The Anxious Little Friends Fest: Lineups & Compilation

In case you missed it, Snappy Little Numbers Quality Audio Recordings is teaming up with Anxious & Angry, Hi Dive and Ratio Beerworks to throw a music festival in Denver, CO on Friday October 12 and Saturday October 13, 2018. Welcome Bud Bronson & The Good Timers And Benchmarks! Split Cassingle On Deck!

We've managed to pull in more top shelf talent!  Bud Bronson & The Good Timers and Benchmarks are officially joining the SLN family on 9/7/18 with the release of a brand new split cassingle.  The cassingle is a joint effort between us and Denver's new upstart imprint, Motorcycle Potluck Records.  Benchmarks' full time label, Sofaburn, is also in the mix.  Really, MPR is doing the heavy lifting on this one and we're just tagging along, so be sure you keep up with what all MPR has coming out.  Bud Bronson & The Good Timers, or BBGT for short, are some of Denver's liveliest and loveliest boys and they contribute their newest song 'Back To The Womb' for their side of the split.  BBGT's brand of punked up power-pop has a broad appeal and they are just a couple of lucky breaks away from being an arena rock band.  Yup, they're that good.  Hailing from Nashville, TN, Benchmarks are equally catchy and fired their expertly crafted new anthem 'The Good Fight' onto their side of the split.  Benchmarks are truly alternative rock, a style that hearkens back to a time before that descriptor was a negative catch-all for the wannabe rock stars of the 90's.  Here's the thing about Benchmarks... they sound like rock stars.  A couple lucky breaks for them and they'll be joining BBGT on the Billboard rock charts.  So I guess we'll keep a few tapes in a box and put them on eBay in a few years so we can retire early!  Make sure you grab yours when it comes out!

The party just doesn't stop here at SLNHQ!  We've got two more releases coming at y'all in August.  First up will be the new album from the ever prolific Friends Of Cesar Romero.  "Trashionista!" is set to be released August 3rd on cassette as well as digitally.  The album is packed with 12 garage-pop gems from the non-stop creative force that is J. Dirty Few "Volcom Sessions" EP 7" Coming In July!

Denver's favorite party aficionados, Dirty Few, have a brand new 7" coming out in just a few weeks!  The "Volcom Sessions" EP was recorded at Volcom Studios in sunny California when Dirty Few stopped by during a 2017 tour.  The tracks were so bangin', they needed a proper release!  Four rad tunes to party (or don't) to and you can preview one right now on our digi-sampler.  Pre orders for the 7" are now up in the SLN store HERE.  There are three different cover options to choose from!  The band will also be having a record release show in Denver at Larimer Lounge on July 2, 2018.  They'll be in the middle of a tour but wanted to make sure they swung back home one night to throw a rager.  We'll be there and I suggest all readers be there as well!

SPELLS + SLN + Anxious & Angry!

"Disco Graffiti" is a cassette compiling 30 tracks from the classic Denver band.  Four! was a staple in the mid-90's Denver punk scene and the band leader, George, has approved all 30 of these tracks to finally be re-released in a very limited quantity.  Each cassette comes with a download code.  This is a split release with George's Red Ear Records and our friends at Ratgirl Records.  While they will have some available through their usual channels, our stash will be mail order only.  You can order one right HERE.  We also have it on our bandcamp HERE.  Red Ear has all the rest of the digital distro sorted out.  Catch up on a little Denver history!  Pressing Info: 50 white cassettes, download code included.
