Mayday Mayday! Two Brand New Cassettes En Route!

We are keeping the release train rolling this spring!  May 31 will see the release of two new EPs in the always trusty cassette format.  First up, Lightning Cult will bring us "EP2: Ether Waves".  Lightning Cult is a project that hails from Santa Fe, NM and features Mike Marchant and Luke Carr.  Longtime Denver-ites will recognize Marchant from his time in countless top acts while he was a mile high resident from 2007-2012.  After 2012, Marchant relocated to New Mexico where he beat a cancer diagnosis and returned to his musical roots in 2018 with Carr.  "EP1: Burner" put the group on the sonic map and will also be included as a bonus to our pressing of EP2.  Next up, but no less smashing, The Half Hearts will be hitting us with their debut S/T EP.  The Half Hearts are a brand new duo from Denver, CO made up of Jason Heller and Karen Walton.  Heller has been a fixture of the underground music scene in Denver since the mid 90's and his credits include bands like Crestfallen, The Blue Ontario, Red Cloud West, The Fire Drills, 25 Rifles and Weathered Statues.  Walton rounds out the combo and drives the engine with her rapid-fire drumming.  You can preview singles from each band on our bandcamp sampler right now!

There's No Escaping SLN-150!

Longtime fans might recall that we started our catalog numbering with SLN-101, cuz we figured it looked cooler to start after 100.  Well, that means that SLN-150 is our 50th release!  Don't overthink the fact that we've done some super low-run alternate catalog-system items or that SLN-108 and SLN-136 never happened or that SLN-151 came out last week.  Let's just celebrate this semi-manufactured but well meaning big 5-0 together!  For our 50th release, we are pleased to present the Bad Year "My Escape" 12"!  This single sided 12" (yes, another one!) comes on opaque white vinyl with a screened B side in either pink, green or yellow ink and includes a download code.  There were 10 copies that also came with a set of 4 custom action figures (pink screen if you're keeping track) but those were snatched up during the first day of pre-orders.  Don't worry, the cover art should still satisfy those with a penchant for toys from the 80's.  The 6 tracks on this release should absolutely satisfy those with a penchant for 90's-style pop-punk!  You can order a vinyl copy from our web store HERE.  If you're a digital-only fine, grab it off our bandcamp HERE.  The vinyl is also available in Denver's best record shops and beyond thanks to Recess Ops and it's also on all the major digi-market-streaming places.  We are super excited to make it to 50 and we want to thank all our friends and fans for helping us get here.  If it's all the same to you, we'll keep on going!  Pressing Info: 10 single sided 12"s on opaque white vinyl with pink ink silk screened B sides plus a set of 4 custom action figures in blister packs on the cover. 90 single sided 12"s on opaque white vinyl with pink ink silk screened B sides. 100 single sided 12"s on opaque white vinyl with green ink silk screened B sides. 100 single sided 12"s on opaque white vinyl with yellow ink silk screened B sides. Download code included.
