We're Now Distributed By Recess Ops!

We are more than pleased to announce that Snappy Little Numbers is now exclusively distributed by Recess Ops!  We'd like to thank Todd and Isaac at Recess Records for this great opportunity.  It's a really great little family of labels and we're happy to be a part of it.  What does this mean?  Well, we assume world domination.  But really we're going to run things how we always have and now you'll see our records in more places.  You can always order direct from us but if you want to get the new Toys That Kill LP (Recess) or Piss Test 7" (Jonny Cat) at the same time you pick up the new SPELLS LP, now you can!  Recess Ops can be found HERE and our label page through them can be found HERE.  Thanks so much for all the support friends and fans!

SLN-128 Skanks It's Way Over!

Wow!  Remember skanking?  There was a whole lot of that going on during the heyday of Mail Order Children.  The band ran from 1996-1998 and had releases on Not Bad Records and Asian Man Records among others.  "Anthology" collects all those tracks plus some unreleased material onto one stunning cassette.  15 tunes in all!  It also comes with a download, although this time there's a link in the insert as opposed to our classic slips of paper.  Order a copy in our store right HERE.  You can also grab it from our bandcamp page HERE.  Soon it will be in stores and e-markets.  This is a split release with Jerkoff/Ratgirl Records.  We're also pleased to say that it will be available through Recess Ops, our brand new distributor.  More info on that in a bit.  OK folks, enjoy the wayback machine!  Pressing Info: 100 white cassette tapes, download code included.

Mail Order Children "Anthology" Cassette On The Way!

Mail Order Children was an 8-piece ska-punk band playing at the height of the "Third Wave Ska" explosion from 1996-1998. Based in Boulder, CO they opened for prominent bands such as Mephiskapheles, Less Than Jake and The Toasters, recorded tracks at The Blasting Room and amazingly survived a US tour in a converted 1970's school bus. This anthology features a complete collection of released and unreleased Mail Order Children tracks from their EPs, 7 inches and demos arranged in reverse chronological order from 1998 to 1996. MOC happened to be our founder's first real band so we're pumped to have these songs re-mastered for a 21st century release.  It will be out on cassette and digital download in February.  Preview a track on our sampler!  This is a co-release with Jerkoff/Ratgirl Records.  R.I.P. Luke Goodwin (1982-2007).
