We've managed to pull in more top shelf talent! Bud Bronson & The Good Timers and Benchmarks are officially joining the SLN family on 9/7/18 with the release of a brand new split cassingle. The cassingle is a joint effort between us and Denver's new upstart imprint, Motorcycle Potluck Records. Benchmarks' full time label, Sofaburn, is also in the mix. Really, MPR is doing the heavy lifting on this one and we're just tagging along, so be sure you keep up with what all MPR has coming out. Bud Bronson & The Good Timers, or BBGT for short, are some of Denver's liveliest and loveliest boys and they contribute their newest song 'Back To The Womb' for their side of the split. BBGT's brand of punked up power-pop has a broad appeal and they are just a couple of lucky breaks away from being an arena rock band. Yup, they're that good. Hailing from Nashville, TN, Benchmarks are equally catchy and fired their expertly crafted new anthem 'The Good Fight' onto their side of the split. Benchmarks are truly alternative rock, a style that hearkens back to a time before that descriptor was a negative catch-all for the wannabe rock stars of the 90's. Here's the thing about Benchmarks... they sound like rock stars. A couple lucky breaks for them and they'll be joining BBGT on the Billboard rock charts. So I guess we'll keep a few tapes in a box and put them on eBay in a few years so we can retire early! Make sure you grab yours when it comes out!
