OK music aficionados, here's the lowdown on the Snappy Little Numbers Quality Audio Recordings "El Primer Año" Bagged Set. Yep, we're going with "bagged" since it's not really "boxed". As previously mentioned, these sets are a Record Store Day 2012 Special that will only be available at Wax Trax in Denver on April 21 and directly through our mailorder (we'll have a couple for the out-of-towners) while supplies last. The sets are comprised of our first 4 releases- Eyes & Ears/Snake Mountain "Split Single", 25 Rifles "History Of Flags" E.P., The Manxx "Messin' Around b/w Hard Lessons" and Hooper "The Shallows b/w 100 Acre Slingshot". The standard Retail Editions come in gold sparkle sleeves with download codes. They are a Limited Edition of 20, all hand-numbered. There are also a small handful of Key Stakeholder Editions that will be handed out to our staff, business partners and a few lucky fans. These will pop up in the aforementioned gold sparkle sleeves as well as silver sparkle, white pearl and rose pearl sleeves. True rarities for the collector. We can only assume that the future worth of the Retail Editions could pay for someone to go through college and that the Key Stakeholder Editions could pay for a private island. Record Store Day is a fun way to support small, independent, local businesses. We think everyday is a great day for that too.
